Originally created by the professional breeding group, Runtz, who are based in California, this strain has made its way up North for us all to enjoy! The strain is a cross of two hit fruity favourites, Zkittlez and Gelato! It is quite potent with a THC count that averages up to 24%, backing a sedative high that offers users a nice combination of physical and mental relaxation, making it great for medical users and indica or hybrid lovers alike! The White Runtz high starts off as a tingling buzz that begins at the head, and then spreads throughout the body, bringing on a relaxing and sedative effect. A wave of calmness and content will wash over you both physically and mentally as you also enter a state of happiness. This body high paired with the uplifted mood make this strain particularly nice to chill back and relax with, especially after a long day at work or any stressful day! White Runtz is an even hybrid with a balanced 50:50 indica to sativa ratio. Despite its combination of sativa and indica effects and balanced genetics, users do tend to associate White Runtz to be a more indica leaning strain due to its strong body relaxation and sedative high. Its THC count averages between 23% to 24% on average, which is higher than most strains on the market. One of its parents is Zkittlez, which is an indica dominant hybrid with 70% indica to 30% sativa, averaging between 13% to 15% THC, and is a cross of Grape Ape and Grapefruit. Its other parent is Gelato, another indica leaning hybrid though with more balanced genetics with indica at only 55% dominance to 45% sativa. This delectable, classic dessert strain averages at 20% THC potency!
The nugs of White Runtz are large, even oversized in many batches due to its thick and fluffy appearance. It is spade shaped with a pointed tip, and primarily olive green in colour. Its pistils are thin and long, and are a dark brownish orange. It has a super frosty appearance as well with its abundance of crystal trichomes! Coming from a long line of popular sweet and fruity strains, one can assume that White Runtz is also just as tasty! It is strongly sour with a sugary sweetness to complement it, like fruit candy! There are also undertones of citrus and earthiness, and some users even note hints of berries and grapes!
