Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express is a powerfully potent strain that is known by many. It has been around for a while but has made leaps in popularity recently. This strain was made famous by the comedy movie “Pineapple Express” with Seth Rogan and James Franco. Described in the movie as the “dopest dope,” it truly lives up to its name with its fragrant aroma and hard-hitting sativa-dominant high. G13 Labs claims to be the original breeder of this strain using Trainwreck and Hawaiian. However, many variations of the original exist in the current marketplace which may vary your experience.

Effects

The THC content of this strain often hits above 24% which is very potent! Though the effects in the movie was definitely an exaggeration, it lives up to its name by providing a sweet sativa high. The buzz is described as very heady with a mild body high. The euphoric effects uplift the users’ mood, making them feel happy and relaxed. Pineapple Express is a great smoke for sunny days or wake n’ bakes but can also be used after a long and tiring day. The burst of energy will make those last few hours of the day more enjoyable and calm.     Still does what it’s suppose to just not what I could have done. doesn’t have the flavour or bud appeal. Smells like it , but not like the other times. Nice size nugs tho , Kinda brownish like the crop had issues tho.
    Luckily it’s the price it was or I’d a been pretty choked lol

    Incredible!!! Such an uplifting and euphoric high with a lot of energy! Nice and strong so you don’t need a lot. After a good 1.5-2 hours it still felt like I just smoked up but not as strong. When you then start to come down it’s very refreshing and I found it didn’t burn me out too much. Great for mornings and afternoons! Or late night gaming ;)

I will be ordering more, possibly a new favourite strain. EXCELLENT medicine for anxiety, depression, mood disorders.

    PROS: -The "High" is fine for a sativa and provides the energetic burst and low burnout associated with sativas.
    - The trim on the plant was done well, with minimal leaf on the bud.
    CONS: -The buds in my quarter all looked different than the photo, redder hairs and much less dense composition.
    - The smell is off and not representative of a good Pineapple Express, which typically has a powerful tropical smell. The taste certainly wouldn't win awards either.
    A Solid 3/5.

    One of my favortite strains ever, was super stoked to see GS finally get some in stock, usually if i'm not buying stuff on GS it is because I am looking for this strain elsewhere. However the smell and taste of the pineapple is very minimal, for me it what makes or breaks a great PEX. However the buzz is quite good and it is as usual with its creative & uplighting high, but loses a star each on smell and taste.
