Jack the Ripper is another standout strain originally bred by the talented team over at TGA Genetics. Considered one of the team’s crown jewels, it is almost unbelievable that Jack the Ripper was conceived by mistake – Subcool, a talented horticulturist and cannabis enthusiast accidentally came across this phenotype after attempting to re-create his own popular strain Jack’s Cleaner in seed-form. Named after the infamous serial killer of the 19th century, JTR is well renowned for its astounding potency and deadly high.

Effects

Jack the Ripper is a unique and prominent sativa flower with an unprecedentedly unique genetic history. Subcool from TGA genetics crossed his own notorious Jack’s Cleaner with a peculiar male variant of the exotic Space Queen strain to create this potent killer. I dropped a star just because it does not measure up to some of the other outstanding and amazing sativas I've tried here. Still very good though.

    I felt the need to come back AND UPDATE MY REVIEW OF JTR with a second more fair and more honest review. Prior to trying it initially, I had spent the weekend prior dabbing. Once into this, and adjusted back to flower(25-30% thc vs 70-90% thc in my dabs) I wanted to change my review. This IS fab smoke, and works a treat for any seasoned sativa lover. Plus I want to mention GS has given me only the very best in service which is even more important. So if looking for strong, some of my favs have been TomFord, HighOctaneOG, JTR, SpaceQueen and more...keep up the fab strains GS!

Sorry GS,,you have better...for less. If your a seasoned user looking for STRONG or high thc you may want to try another strain.....

    I’ve got to admit this is probably one of my favourite strains right now. The high is blissfully euphoric. I’m a huge fan of sativas with high thc levels and heavy psycho active properties. I’ve had the luxury of smoking some really good strains that push my creativity along and allow me to be active without the couch lock effect which I dread. It has a smell similar to an og like vanilla accent when you sniff the nugs and fairly smooth smoke, the high is just the icing on the cake. So if you’re anything like me and you enjoy getting a higher than Angel Pussy I definitely suggest you grab some grams.

    Beautiful nugs of about average size glimmering with kief crystals and with a gentle yellow tinge. A slightly bitter aroma, reminiscent of the rain-dark streets of Victorian London. Really creeper, so take it easy or you'll be wrecked. Also don't think because it's uplifting people won't know your baked at work and stuff. 5 stars. Smoked a small joint and I'm blasted. Really good taste as well

    Jack the Ripper is a killer strain. The buds looked beautiful and tasted just as good, piney with a little sweetness and very flavourful. An uplifting, energetic head buzz, a great strain for daytime (or anytime) use. But beware, if you smoke a lot Jack the Ripper can and will leave you feeling ripped up. A great pain reliever for my Crohn’s disease without leaving me feeling lethargic. Highly recommended!
