Developed in the Netherlands by expert growers at Sensi Seeds, Jack Herer’s THC concentration is approximately 17-24%, making it quite potent and an excellent choice for anyone seeking stronger effects. The potency can be even furthered by one of the many different Jack Herer shatters available such as those by Faded Extracts. A sativa-dominant hybrid, the strain has been tested to carry a ratio of 55% sativa to 45% indica, although its exact origins and genetics are well-guarded. It is believed to be derived from Haze, Northern Lights #5, as well as Shiva Skunk. Jack Herer is also known as being the derivative phenotype for other popular strains such as Jack the Ripper, Jack’s Cleaner, Jack Frost and Jack Skellington.

Appearance & Aroma

The overall appearance of this well-rounded strain is muted, as it carries a certain quiet confidence. The light to pale green leaves are densely packed inside the elongated buds, coiled bright orange pistils, with a multitude of trichomes adorning the outer layers. This makes Jack Herer a stickier bud to hold, though also such pleasure to smell. Immediately you’ll notice a sharp citrus aroma with a deep and rich zest, unveiled more as you break apart and grind down on the leaves. As you begin to smoke, this strain burns with a semblance of sage, tasting smooth and delectably herbal, with dank hints of pepper, but not as pungent as other choices.     Au goût c'est vraiment pas le meilleur Jack Herer que j'ai fumé, mais il est très bon. Pas de goût éclatant en bouge, mais un petit citron funky presque un peu gazeux.

    Le buzz est bon pour un Sativa, il réveille et donne un petit boost, ça donne le goût de rire et d'avoir un peu de fun.

    Overall quand même un bon phénotype d'une strain légendaire, je donne la note de 8/10

    I'd say it's not the best version of JH Ive ever had but it's a pretty decent representation of the best. Very clean and clear uplifting high that boost energy and motivation to do things for fun of do things because you must (clean the house, etc) I use to always have JH on hand and then drifted away for the last few years but this batch has convinced me to put it back on the "Keep in Stock" list. I don't find it that great for creativity but the clear, pure, clean energy and mental alertness that comes with this is really nice.

    Usually wouldn't give 5 stars but honestly feel this one deserves it. The taste is nice and the high is exactly what i'm looking for from a Sativa. I like being alert when I smoke mostly due to the fact i'm a gamer nerd, but also because i'm working a job now that I enjoy and which requires a lot of focus and on the spot problem solving. In a Sativa I look for something that will not demotivate me and/or make me sluggish through my week if i'm smoking daily. That's what I get from this strain and for that reason it deserves my 5 stars! It has a nice taste too. I suggest the Boveda pack if you want to keep its original flavor for a longer period of time.

A good go-to when looking for something specific for daytime usage, recommended for that purpose. Caveat: would rate it higher if I was more of a sativa smoker, I mostly prefer indica/indica dominant hybrids.

    Having never had the dispensaries around me carry this strain I had to give it a try. Nice dense small to mid-sized buds with good crystal, a definite pine scent, and the moisture level was bang on. Clean, smooth taste through a mini-water bong with a quick euphoric and uplifting hit that still left me with a clarity of mind and no heavy feeling keeping me on the couch. A slight citrus taste comes through, but closer to citrus cleaner. I now see where Mr. Clean and others like it get that taste. The high wasn't knock me over, but that was good as it does a great job of joint pain relief and I wouldn't mind keeping some on hand as a strain to bring on a hike or a day at the beach without worrying about crashing out half way through the day.
