OG Diesel Kush

OG Diesel Kush, or simply OGDK, for short is an extremely pungent and dank indica-dominant strain. This strain was created as a product of the cross between the classic OG Kush and New York native, Diesel. The history and roots of this strain are embedded deep within cannabis culture and will forever remain a favourite within the community – a true “People’s Choice” type of strain.

Effects

This is an incredibly potent strain, with laboratory results ranging from 22%-25% THC levels on average. This strain is definitely recommended for more experienced users, due to the potency and heavy-hitting high. OGDK can be medicinally used in many ways, providing users with effective, acute pain treatment, a heavily sedating relaxing effect, and an all-around happy, cerebral, and giggly high. It is most effective when used for the treatment of insomnia, pain, stress, and depression.

Appearance & Aroma

This strain is characterized by its slightly darker buds and insanely generous amount of THC visible to the eyes. Lush, forest green and purple leaves are accentuated by bright orange pistils – but the most appealing thing about this indica-dominant strain is the amount of THC covering the plant. The buds are caked in a very sticky layer of trichomes, and a grinder or buster is definitely recommended for handling this strain. Another one of the identifying characteristics of this strain is the aroma. This exceptionally pungent smell is epitomized by a strong skunk aroma, with undertones of pine and a gassy diesel. The taste of OGDK derives from both its parent strains, fusing the earthy, lemon-like flavours of OG Kush with the skunky, gassy and pine-like tang of Diesel

    I was met with a bit of a head high for 10 minutes or so that turned in to a body stone. At the peak of the body stone my shoulders felt like jello and it was hard to keep my eyes open. I made the mistake of fighting it and then couldn’t sleep after those effects ended so I just simply smoked more. If you are feeling tired, let it take you.

    One of the sale batches I got kind of turned me off, and i have not been back since, but I do miss it. I am not sure if the discount is permanent, but this is one of the better strains on the site, especially if you do not want to pay $240 just to find out whether or not you like a strain.

    A perfect bong strain, those who smoke for taste and still want to be functional should strongly consider OG Diesel Kush!
