G-13 is an indica-dominant strain with quite an interesting legend behind it. Legend has it that intelligence agencies like the CIA and FBI in the early 1960s, gather the best strains of cannabis from around the world. They then brought it back to a secret laboratory at the University of Mississippi. At the secret lab, they bred many new super hybrids using the best strains they could acquire. Allegedly, an unnamed technician was able to obtain a single cutting of a plant and bred it for the masses. This strain was called G-13, or Government Indica Strain 13. It first started out as a pure indica but nowadays is most likely not. This strain is known to be very potent, producing a powerful body stone that will leave the user feeling quite lazy.

Effects

It is a very potent strain with a THC content averaging around 15% and with a high of 21%. Due to its high THC levels, this strain is recommended for more experienced users and not beginners. The high of this strain is described to be as overpowering and overwhelming by many. As described before, G-13 produces a very strong body stone, typical of indica genetics, that will make you feel extremely lazy. “Couch-lock” will be a typical experience for many. However, more experienced users report increased focused and creativity before it sets in.     I liked it, it wasn’t too strong and I enjoyed it, I would by if it was on sale or in a mix and match again, not my favourite though
