I decided to try the raw form of mushroom today for the first time. I really enjoy any type of regular mushroom and thought "Hey! how bad can it really be?" . So I bought this variety (7g) and just started munching on them. I have to say , it was very close to a normal mushroom and even tasted okay with the coffee I was having at the time. I got through about 2.5-3g of mushroom (which is a little high for a newbie) .I can handle 150mg THC distillate edible... so this can't be hitting me as hard right? Kind of wrong on this one as it's a really different high.
Mushroom is treated like a toxin to the body , so it tries to push it out any way possible... teary eyes, the jitters and shakes , sick to your stomach for a bit , feeling of a fever and waves of sensations throughout the body, runny nose etc. I think these effects go for all mushroom but that was my experience on this one for the first hour or so.
Once those feeling dissipated it was an energetic and creativity feeling that lasted for the rest of the time (2-3 hours) . Oh yes , and again it's a toxin... so you have to pee a lot! , keep hydrated.
It's something you can only do every once a month or so for maximum benefits.... You will build up a tolerance VERY quickly , so make it a special occasion and don't touch it if you're stressed , busy or are in a state other than chill. You really won't like the results if you can't just lay back and relax.
This stuff hits pretty intensely . If it didn't for others , its because they ate too much before taking it , or abused it by taking it too recently . Respect the shroom , eat a fairly light meal 1-2 hours before (helps keep the stomach in check) , If you experience a panic like feeling , slow deep breathing and relax.... you're experience will guide you through , don't try and control it because it will just ruin what should have happened ;)
